Help Guides
The calendar is where your timetable, lesson notes, and attendance meet — plan a lesson before class, then record it with one click during class, and it flows straight into the gradebook. This walkthrough follows the exact buttons you'll click.
Use Prev Week and Next Week to step between weeks, or Today to come back. To jump further, pick any date in the small date field next to the buttons and the calendar opens that week. Show weekend switches between a five-day and a seven-day week, and your choice is remembered.
On a laptop or a large tablet your week is drawn against a time ruler down the left-hand side. Each lesson sits at its real time and takes as much room as it actually lasts, so a double period is visibly twice a single one, and two lessons at the same time stand side by side. On a phone your week stays a simple list, day by day.
Click + Add Event under a day. Give it a title and times, and tick Recurring Weekly for a timetable lesson. Under Repeats choose every week, or every 2, 3 or 4 weeks for a lesson that doesn't happen weekly; the weeks in between stay free. Repeats From and Repeats Until are already filled in with this school year. Pick a Related Class and Subject so you can record the lesson later.
+ Add Event → Save EventEvery card has a small pencil in its top right corner. It opens the lesson's window: its details on the left, its notes on the right. One note box holds what applies every week (syllabus, class rules), the other is just for that date, where this week's homework belongs. Pasted links become clickable, and pressing Enter starts a new line.
In the lesson's window, click Duplicate. Everything is copied — title, time, class, subject and note — but nothing is saved yet. Change the date (or anything else) and click Save Event. The original stays exactly as it was.
Tap the pencil in a day's header to start a note for that whole day. It saves automatically and stays visible right in the column; click the note whenever you want to change it.
The Holidays button above your week is where your school holidays and free days live. If your school or education authority publishes its holidays, paste in the calendar address or upload the calendar file you were sent, and this school year's holidays are read in one go. Add the days your school sets itself by hand underneath. Lessons on all of those days pause automatically.
Open the lesson with its pencil and choose Cancel This Lesson. It stays in your week, greyed out, so you can still see it was planned — it simply stops asking to be recorded, and everything you already wrote or recorded for it is kept. One click on Lesson Takes Place Again brings it back.
A lesson linked to a class and subject shows a small tag once it is today or past: an amber Record means you haven't recorded it yet, a green Recorded means you have.
Click the amber Record tag — or anywhere else on the card — and the panel opens with the right date, class and subject already filled in. A green Recorded tag opens the same lesson again with everything you entered, so you can look something up or add to it. For an ad-hoc session, choose the class and date by hand in the panel.
Tick Absent for anyone who is missing, pick a participation grade from the list, and jot a short note — right there during class. The panel also shows Notes for this lesson. Click Save Session: the grade appears as its own gradebook column and stays in sync if you change it later.
Copy your personal calendar link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook to see your lessons on your phone. You can also show another calendar next to yours, or download your session remarks — attendance, grades and notes — as Excel, CSV or PDF. The calendar link and showing another calendar are part of the Pro plan.
Entries from a calendar you have linked show in grey and belong to that calendar, so they cannot be edited here. Press Copy on one — or Copy This Week for all of them — and you get your own version to rename, move or link to a class. A calendar file you were sent can be brought in the same way, under Sync & Export. Copied too much? Remove copied entries takes them all out again in one step and leaves your own entries alone.
