What you should know beforehand.
Is it really all free, or does it run out after a few weeks?
The free plan does not expire. Gradebook, student records, reports and both AI features stay usable permanently. Only the amounts are capped: 30 gradings and 2 lesson plans per month. If you need more you upgrade — but you do not have to.
What exactly does the AI grader do?
You pick the class, the subject and the gradebook column, choose your rubric and, if you like, attach the answer key. Then you upload the whole stack of handwritten or typed work, one file per student. The AI grades every paper and suggests points, corrections and written feedback; if you have already marked the papers by hand, tell it your pen colour and it ignores your marks. You look through each result, change whatever you want and save - the mark goes straight into that student's cell in your gradebook, and the final grade updates by your weighting.
Do I pay over the summer holidays as well?
No. From the Plus plan onwards, billing pauses automatically in July and August. You pay for ten months, not twelve.
Do I have to use the AI features?
No. The gradebook and class register work fully without them. The AI grader only runs when you start it, and no mark reaches your gradebook until you have approved it.
How do I get out again?
Cancel any time, no minimum term. If you end a subscription you drop back to the free plan and keep your data. Export to Excel or PDF is possible at any time.
Can I bring my existing class lists across?
Yes, via Excel or CSV import. If you get stuck, just use our template.
Can our whole school buy this for every teacher?
Yes. Name your school, add your colleagues' email addresses and see the price update live - nothing is billed and no invite goes out until you actually check out.
